Michael’s arrangements have a natural affinity with the light orchestras of the 40s and 50s, but he takes his inspiration from all types of light music of the 19th and 20th centuries, American and British Big Bands, Musicals, Vaudeville and Revue, as well as Latin American music and the great Brass Bands.
